Default 145 windscreen replacement

Hi People. I'm finaly back on my 145. It needs a new front screen. Can i fit a 240 one?

What year is it? Is it a bonded in screen with the clips to hold the trim in? The trim clips are no longer available and they typically rust out along the bottom row.

1970, sticky out doorhandles. It does, i think have the trim clips, tho i haven't got trim off yet.

Trim is easy to get off and I'd take it off yourself so it doesn't get damaged. Then you should have a good idea if you need the clips. Before you put the trim back on and after window has been bonded in fill the gap between the windscreen edge and aperture and around each clip with Soudal Butyrub, that should stop water getting in under the screen and clips.
