Well, mine arrived this morning, and has already been put to good use (told me the light was on because of a faulty cam pos sensor). Excellent tool, well worth having, many thanks to Mr.Loki!

Scanned for ignition and fuel faults this morning and got 1-1-1 for both.

Good news.

Loki: ~ reading these posts with some interest. I have a Volvo V70 2.5 petrol “R” reg- August 1997. The car is quite new to me and I plan to keep it so probably worth investing in the reader- The centre console has the plug marked OBD 11.

Could you please confirm that your product is suitable for the above car- if so I can then make arrangements with you.
Many Thanks Bob

I can't confirm that it will work on a V70; the link that GPL1968 posted earlier in this thread refers to Volvo S/V70s with Fenix 5.2 software. If you have a tame garage with an OBD II reader it might be worth asking them if they can pull any codes from the car. If they can't then my reader might be suitable.

If the garage can't pull the codes then I can produce one for you early next month, as the boxes are on back order and not due in until theend of this month.

Thanks for prompt reply; I’m just sorting a couple of jobs out on the car at present so I don’t have any great urgency at this stage for the reader.

As I’m not too far away from you (Standish) would it be possible to call and see you to try one of your items? Obviously at a time/date that suits you.

I can also be contacted on robertjohnmeadows@gmail.com if you prefer.
Many Thanks Bob

I don't see why not; it'll have to be next month as I don't have a unit myself at present, having sold my original one to another forum member.

Keep an eye on this thread for status updates.
