Default PA3 upgrade?

Someone posted it on swedespeed - anyone going to visit a dealer anytime soon can maybe ask and confirm if this is available to other SPA cars? (ie. not only V60..)

Integrating the navigation/gps with PA sure seems like a major upgrade!

It would appear that this is only available to cars with retrofitted software and not those with factory installed IntelliSafe Assist and Sensus Navigation!

The following note is clearly shown on the accessories offer:

Note!

This is only an upgrade of IntelliSafe Assist. The offer applies only for customers who already have IntelliSafe Assist and Sensus Navigation as retrofitted accessories

Does not work for customers who have IntelliSafe Assist and Sensus Navigation fitted directly from the factory.

Well it says so because this is an accessory catalog item- the upgrade is sold as an accessory to people who purchased InteliSafe & Sensus navi as an accessory. For us with factory installations I imagine the upgrade will actually be installed as an update.

Has anyone been into the dealer and asked about this being a free upgrade?

I was at the dealer to replace a cracked windshield (€1500 parts & labour btw ) but no update- they told me free updates are only done when doing scheduled maintenance (ie. once a year or 30K kms..) which came as a surprise - I thought they push updates every time the car is in for service.. Anyhow- my service is not due till Dec..

Deman? Anyone else?..

I was told not yet available.

My dealer did sw updates on request but partly because of the many issues I had to solve. But in the last year things have been stable so I didn’t push for latest software.

I will ask again when changing to winter tyres in November.
