You can buy original Xenons direct from the manufacturer - most have their own online shops - or from auto parts stores

Be wary of the super cheap ones, there are fakes out there.

I bought a pair of Philips Extreme Vision +50% from Amazon at about half the price of Volvo originals. The pack had a code on it where you can check they were genuine on the Philips website, which they were, if I had any doubts I'd have returned them to Amazon.
As has been mentioned there are a lot of fake copies out there.

Just replaced one of mine. I opened the headlight and the originals were Osram Xenarc D3S, so I bought a straight replacement off Amazon for £43. Appears genuine when inputting the codes on the Osram website.

Took all of 10 minutes to replace - lift the tags an pull the headlight out.

The advice is to replace in pairs because the colour changes as they age but I can't tell any difference between the 5 year old original and new one.

They tend to go pink towards the end , but if they are both the same colour good enough for now :-)

The light output of HID lamps also diminishes with age so another good reason to replace in pairs.

A few people on here have used and recommend www.powerbulbs.com
