Wanted 245
Hi
I am after a 245 DL /GL in Manual 1979/80 model estate, with the square headlamp model. I am not familiar with the relevant engine models etc. i am new to the forum, always been a Datsun/Toyota enthusiast, but i saw my fathers old car in a photo's and it bought back fond memories. Unfortunately he has passed away and would love to have one for sentimental reasons. His reg on the car was CBA 954 T and was a burnt orange / rustic colour (not sure what its called!) it was the one i learnt to drive in! interior and mechanicals must be good, bodywork i can handle. if you PM me and we can exchange details if the car you have is suitable. I am based in Blackburn Lancashire so will view if within this area otherwise its a photo decision! Many Thanks Javed |

Welcome to volvo world.
Sadly your fathers car doesn't seem to be around anymore unless it's sat in a garage forgotten or waiting to be found. The diectgov tax checker site states. CBA 954T DATE of first registration 01-03-1979. DATE of Liability 01-02-1994. Engine size 2127cc. Colour RED. STATUS unlicensed. I hope you find one similare but they don't come along to often of that era.More likely to get a younger model as they aren't fetching good money just now.The older ones seem to be making a comeback at the recent rallies. Regards Brian. |

I am going to view a 1980 'W' reg, 245DL, over the next few days, two previous owners and only 35,000 genuine miles. Yellow with black interior, smaller square headlamp model, all original, I will let you know if I take it or not, and if not let you know why and post up some photo's.
Cheers, Kevin. |
