Don't really care a huge amount but was a feature I used a lot on mine.
In well over 300,000mls in a car with cruise, I've only ever used it once. The traffic is such that cruise is virtually unusable, it is either a mile or so too slow or too fast, but never the correct speed. A right foot is infinitely more adjustable.

I found that on the hire cars I had especially the asx because I did some serious driving in that traffic and then speed limits one minute youre flying along at 70 next youre down to 50 in a contra flow. I found it annoying tbh.

What is the most common thing people have done on here to upgrade their sound systems? Mine is the standard HU-655 and it is crummy.

Was there a premium speaker upgrade available for these cars when new?

Yes there was you could look at upgrading the speakers in general with pioneers etc, xtron head units are good value for money and they are smart radios, mvr upgraded his parcel shelf speakers and put 6x9's in something I want to do I've done all the standard speakers with pioneers but the parcel shelf speakers are standard and aren't brilliant due to age. And my days of filling the boot with amps and boom boxes are over but I like the sound the pioneers give over the standard volvo speakers I had up front.

All the standard head units are a much of a much the 1205 just has the sat nav and colour screen but sound wise it's no different to the others.

4" in the front, 5.25" in the doors, 6.5" in the rear, and 2x10" in the boot. Sounds great even without the subwoofers.

Started the car this morning to a red xenon. I think I'll stop buying these bulbs from HIDS4U now as their bulbs seems to last just over a year (the warranty period) then fail.

Anyone else on here with Xenons know where to get decent D2R bulbs from?

Replaced the oil seperator/dipstick housing and scraped a load of gooey crap out of the inlet manifold, put a new shut off valve housing seal in then bolted it all back together and took it for a good thrashing.

Got mine off eBay, Alex.
I will try to find the link tonight.
Just about to attempt to replace my electric shower!

Fingers crossed.

Genuine Volvo ones, £120 per BULB
HIDS4U - £56 for a pair
eBay - £15 for the pair - Just ordered, if they last me 6 months that's still a saving.
