Default Another ULEZ casualty.

A 240GL saloon has appeared on eBay, doesn’t look too bad. £750 start.

Sorry can’t do links!

It looks like a 1989 motor car Andrew. I don't know why people hide the registration numbers - as if it is a secret.

It is a long way from qualifying as an historic vehicle, but I suppose it would be quite cheap at £2,000 and probably still okay at £3,000.

Ive been getting classic insurance quotes around the £50 mark for a years cover, so even with 6 months tax thrown in every year the expenses equate to the cost of 3 tanks of petrol - not enough to really factor in my decision when considering a newer 'classic'.

I think there are two reasons that people hide their registration plates on the internet.
  1. They don't want you taking the registration and checking the MOT history.
  2. They don't want the number plate cloned, and used for nefarious activities. While the number plate is visible for any member of the public to see that walks past it, putting it on the internet spreads the details to a much wider audience.

Aye, I take £280+ £54 on the chin, with just over a ton for insurance, it’s still less than a tenner a week!😀

You could be right.
It just sticks in my craw that I can’t do further investigation!🧐

Looks ok doesn’t it, the photos aren’t conclusive.

Our friend in Potters Bar looking is only across the road.

Maybe doesn’t appeal!🤔
