Default Power Operated Wing Mirrors

I haven't got them and having lost one to a width limit and living on a corner on a narrow urban street, would like to put my expensive mirrors away at night.

Is this a practical upgrade to do? I'm guessing I would need the folding mirrors to start with but what else or is it plug & play?

Just a thought: do you know for sure you don't have folding mirrors? Have you tried pressing the L and R mirror buttons at the same time? I think there's a menu option to auto-fold when locking the car, so if that option is not enabled, then you may not even notice if you have them.

Ooh-er - didn't think of manually folding the mirrors! So long since I've had a car that does that!

Car is in fact an ES not an SE, hence no retracting mirrors

Bear in mind, if it was on the options list then they could have been specified when vehicle was ordered. I guess you've tried pressing the buttons and confirmed the feature is not present?

Hi Simon

Yes, I've tried that. The buttons had actually sunk, so had to fix the holder first. Remote mirrors both work find but I've just discovered the window switch on passenger side doesn't when I went to put it up whilst leaning over to push the mirror out manually..!!
