XC90 and Caravan LED lights

Hi, Does anyone who tows with an XC90 have a caravan with LED road lights, did you need to put extra resistance into the circuit for the cars towing system to work properly.

I am due to pick up a new Buccaneer in the near future and need to know if the towing electric will work ok.

We picked up our new Conqueror this weekend with all LED lights and this worked fine with the Volvo installed tow bar, did the lamp check with out any issues - V90 CC 2018. Do you have the Volvo installed tow bar and electrics as other wise this may be different ?

My Thule bike carrier has LED lights and it works with the Volvo towbar with no issues.

Any trailer/caravan etc fitted with LED light will already be set up to just plug in to any standard 12 volt trailer socket and work. It would be up to the trailer manufacturer to ensure all lighting works with any standard towing sockets.

my XC90 Momentum with factory towbar had no problem with the LED's on my Caravan. Good system all round and wired correctly straight from the factory for fridge etc.

I have the Volvo towbar and electrics and they are fine with my current van.

On the basis of your comments it would seem I am unlikely to have any problems , at least caused by the car's electrics..

I notice most bike carriers stil have classic bulbs, no leds. The thule 926 had leds, but more recent models do not. Is that the same problem that is dscribed here?

Plugged in my caravan for the first time and it checked the caravan lighting on the display great.
