Interestingly Chris, I have today received an offer for Polestar optimisation from Holdcroft Volvo at Stoke for £465.

Default Polestar upgrade on XC70

Hi All,

I have recently bought an XC70 (2016) with the D5 2.4 ltr engine.
the car is great but feels very heavy compared to our S80 with the 1.6 D2 engine (which returns great fuel economy)

I am interested in the polestar upgrade for the XC70, but the dealership I bought it from didn't really know any thing about the pro's and cons.

Does it make much difference to performance?

Does it effect fuel economy? i would have thought it may even help?

Please give your opinions

cheers

I’ve just had my 2008 XC70 done. It’s brilliant.
Changes gearbox responsiveness, throttle response and appears to improve fuel economy. Though not filled up yet to check
The trip computer is suggesting 36:9mpg but I never believe them.
