Default Volvo S80 2.4d p0101 fault code

Hi guys.
The s80 hasn't felt like it's been running at 100% for a little while now. Slight hesitation, a bit laggy and generally just a but rough. It's been fully serviced and no fault codes were stored. The swirl arm had come off but this has been replaced. I have today put my elm diag on and it came up with p0101, mass air flow sensor circuit range / performance. I cannot see anything untoward and tried unplugging the maf, the idle did seem smoother. Is there anything else I could check?

I have had another look today. Checked all connections and all are tight. I took off the inlet pipe to egr and cleaned it, I was fairly clean anyway. I now have codes p0101 and now p0112 intake temp fault. The engine is quite lumpy. Is the iat apart of the maf?
Also on the dashboard diagnostic there is an 040 code

Simon
