V70 Body/Trim: - Load cover

Hi Guys,
The plastic end caps on my series 1 V70 load cover have finally got to the stage where they are no longer repairable and these parts aren't sold separately. So looking around the usual sites for a second hand unit I can only find load covers for series 2 (2000 on). As my V70 is 1998 (series 1) will a series 2 do the job?
