Default Going back to original question

If your v70 has original headlights it won't be the bulbs that are the problem but the reflectors inside being dulled. I replaced the two headlight units with Volvo headlights for about £400 2 years ago and the light output was as new... really bright and as they came with bulbs which still work 15000 miles later I think that this solution is better than LED or any other brighter bulbs which however bright won't provide enough light if the reflectors are dull.

My original reflectors were terrible but I couldn't justify the cost of volvo headlights. I purchased a new pair from Autodocs for about €90.00. Made by Van Wezel and the quality looks very good. I then added a good quality HID kit 35w 5000k. The end result is amazing and safe to other drivers
