Default Boot Cover

Hi there Ive just got myself an Mredg T5 and very happy with it apart from 2 problems.
1) Are these suppose to have something to cover the boot area like most estate cars, if so where do i go to get one from
2) when I boot the car the reves stay high for longer than I would of thought,
3) There seems to be a small oil leek coming from the top of the rocker cover but Ive been told that these don't have a gasket for this, is thre a quick fix for this.

Kind Regards

the boot covers are available second hand on ebay or in sales and wants sometimes there are several colours and go for £80 to £100.

some specialist volvo parts suppliers may have new ones but are way over £200.

as for the rocker cover not sure if there is a gasket but it maybe a camshaft oil seal leaking they can be done with out dismantling the engine in situe. distributor end is quite straight forward but cambelt end will involve removal and change of the belt.

hope this helps

russ. ps this is going by the v70 p1 classic but they are very similar to the 850.

I am sure a 850 owner will confirm or correct me if i am wrong.

welcome to the world of Volvo.
