ETM Issues Discuss issues regarding the problems with ETMs fitted to Volvo cars.

Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default hey im back

just decided to get an s60 2.0ts for £1200 with only 100000 on clock it has an engine manegment light on and when i was low on fuel said it had reduced performance and went in limp mode cud this be the etm and its good to be bk now i got another volvo as decided they look better than e39 530ds

Why not just get the codes read and take out the guesswork.?

When it's fixed get it remapped.

A stage one remap is good for 225bhp! That'll get your 0-60 times down to hot hatch territory.

not worried about performance im keeping standard as want a better mpg loool i got a heavy foot as it is the only thing i wanna change is tge recirc valve to a dump valve
