wow, someone says 'i'll buy it' and even offers a deposit. you say 'no thanks' and say cash only. Staggered.

Its quite normal for paypal to be use dthese days. It gives the buyer some protection and if you want all the cash, just make sure they add the % on top or have it gifted.

Unless of course you have something dodgy going on with our bank accounts.

Get off the thread, you plonk!
There is only one mut hut and it's yours! No one wants it. That guy obviously saw sense and cost you money! Excellent...but you're still about!
Give me £700 to take it off your hands...and I will get a couple of enthusiasts who actually WON'T and DON'T make complete sheds of their cars, to restore it to what it should be.
Anyway, it was only an offer....
Truth is there is indeed 45 and yours is truly the only dog!!!

I think the price is fair, given its condition. The attitude is the problem...but if you don't like Mr Mason's way of doing business, you don't have to buy it. If I was local and in the mood for a project, I'd probably take it on at that price, to be fair.

cheers

James

Ditto, i would take it on as a project, i've got 3 months off work, 2 on and another 3 months off but i'd rather wait and give the money to someone a little more pleasant.

Cool hi

hi guys,

it only needs x3 tyres for the mot and i cant get second hand ones being 17". so i dont want to fork out £380 quid for new tyres when im not keepin the car.

after reading your posts, here is a question;

would you buy a piece of junk from someone for £1000 because they are pleasant? and turn down a decent car from someone for £600 cos you thnk they have a bad attitude?

hey guys, read back from the beginning of the thread. on the outset, my advert isnt unpleasant, only the replies.

and i cant be done with people who give me s&&t, i believe in giving and receiving, anotherwords, your attitude is reflected back in my reply.

if someone is nice, be nice back,,,,if someone isnt, dont be nice back.

cant put it any other way realy.

im not crawling upto anyone to make a sale, been in sales for a long time in a shop and putting up with peoples s&&t for their money just isnt worth it. it makes the money valueless.

simples.

have had many replies from gumtree, and seeing that im not desperate for the cash or the space to get rid, i can afford to turn down offers which i am not happy with.

so there you go guys....im gonna have a good day....ttfn
