I polished my car with a new wax that i've never used before, not sure if anyone else has but it's called Dodo juice rainforest rub.
Really impressed, attached some pics so let me know what you think.

nice job although rainforest rub is getting on a bit now in development terms tbh if you want the latest tech you want something like ceramishield.

I'm quite dissappointed with my last waxing... Good Meguiar's wax and it didn't hold long at all. The paint was within days again full of crap and the wax sealant was near to gone.

That ceramishield looks like something good. Any experience with muck and grime in the paint yet?

really funny actually daim it barely gets dusty or dirty i drove to oulton park where the pic was taken and it was not the best day to go because of the previous weather conditions but no dirt really paint, glass, metal, plastic anything minus rubber and fabric really

self cleaning tech baby any reasonable dirt can just be sprayed off with a PW and water.

Evening Ninja59/Daim,

I've not come across ceramishield before is it expensive?, to be honest i'm usually disappointed when i've waxed my car as it just doesn't seem to hold and seem to be back to square one i've used Autoglym for a long time and while it gives a good shine can't say it has much staying power.
I used to use Meguiar's products few years ago and remember phoning the US to order!, there gold class shampoo and polish was always impressive but not sure how there other products stand up these days.

£45 a bottle but you do not use much and can do pretty much everything.http://www.concourscarcare.com/ceramishield - http://www.concourscarcare.com/shop#...roduct=8229150

Autoglym HD is quite a good wax. megs is pretty well held althoguh the 3 step system is rubbish protection wise megs 16 is okay though.

I know with my SwizÖl (really expensive stuff) that it will hold for at least 6 months... But I've only got enough for a large car (Mum's S80... I promissed I'd do it) so I'd have to pay around €140 again for a small set...

swizol/swissvax in the UK has began to get to pricey for what it is if i am being utterly honest.

Trust me ceramishield knocks your block off in finish plus you can do everything with it including your 19"s
