Default Coating

Hello, I can tell you something I stumbled upon. It may or may not help you.
I had a broken red plastic tail light lens.
I mixed up some 2-part clear epoxy called "Devcon" and "painted" it on the outer surface to hold it together.
There are many clear epoxies out there today.
It dried clear and surprisingly shiny. Getting it to dry flat and uniform would be the biggest challenge.
I do not know the thinning agent or how to prolong the setting time.
The tail lights I restored were small and thus, more forgiving. Kira
