Default v70 or s60

Hi I am looking for a v70 or s60 p2 preferably, specifics,
mileage not too high <125,000
reasonable service history
belts and pulleys done in the last 30'000 miles,
in good overall condition ( cosmetically does not have to be perfect ),
I have viewed too many cars with niggly faults that have been described as easy to fix £20 jobs that the owners say they have'nt got round to or the cars have needed 2 or more tyres etc.. or the dealers have got a thimble worth of petrol in the tank for the test drive. ( rant over )
Anyway I have £900-950 to spend I live in the newcastle area if anyone has a car for sale or could point me in the right direction, I would be extremely grateful.

For less than a grand, any car you buy is going to need work doing.

I'd say you're asking far too much for far too little TBH I'm afraid.

There was a cracking S60 on here recently that was gas converted that might fit the bill for you but it was still over your budget at £1,500.

Here's the S60. If you can stretch your budget then you'd could do a whole lot worse than this.

What you're describing here isn't a sub £1000 S60 and especially not V70.
You need to increase your budget or lower your expectations.

Have you considered an S80? They don't tend to be as expensive as the S60s.

But whatever you get at that price is likely to need a little fettling, so leave some spare money for the little jobs it's likely to need.

If you give a bit (alright a lot) on the mileage, my V70 D5 will be coming up for sale shortly. All belts and pulleys replaced with genuine Volvo when I bought it.
Fair condition and just gone through MOT with no advisorys. Had it a couple of years ish' and only selling now because I might be buying my workmates car transporter to go self employed.
Was looking at £1000 without private plate, or £1200 with.
