Ive been searching high and low for that elusive sensible miles, top condition lpg car for months. Theres been a few saloons and runabouts that dont suit me. One day my boat will come in. Hope I still have my own teeth and hair by then.

Shouldnt worry about it, avgas is 5 star leaded. Just the thing for old cars.

Correct on VSR, it is a common term. VW air cooled engines are not a big problem on LPG.
Fuel pressure is related to the F@#d fuel pump system that is used. Rather than having a fuel return line it has a pressure sensor and the pump operates to the engine demand. Most ready converted LPG cars are high millage and/or being sold for a reason that is not to say you cant get lucky |

Of course low miler converted cars are not two a penny, but exactly how many did you want? Time sits on your side. My last two I got nearly three years ago, and had 85 and 92K on them repsectively. The one at 92K is now an old warhorse, being successfully ground down at 220K and still runs sweet, save burning 1L of oil every 1000, and eatign tyres. Dear me no, I don't see me even close to getting rid yet, it was no vanity-purchase, I want my £1200 quids worth
At the time had I not got a factory fitted car, Classicswede of this parish, was going to do me a conversion, and he'd have been obliged to take at least the £1200 off me. The man's got to eat... And I see 120K muggins-converted cars all day long. Worth nothing because of registration snobbery, but, if you watch those fluids, sweet for another 80K+ (at least,). In my expereicnce they do double that. And how many miles do you expect out of a car? I suppose it comes down to how much you want to be at the altar of the motortrade, vanity and deprecitation, and how much you like this unholy trinity taking you up the, ahem. Some bend over. Some don't.
