Default Stiff steering.

Hi Every one,
Can some one please advise how to diagonise stiff steering. Ive flushed the steering oil with CHF green stuff 6 months ago and it didnt help. The steering is harder than normal , Like its hard to steer with one hand in corners, I thought XC90 is heavier vehicle and it will be like that. I got used to it but, if there is some thing I can do it to improve please let me know.

Thank you.

What pressure are your tyres?
Is the fluid still clean, clear and bright green?

It is bright and clean Simon. I do 36 psi for the tyres. Ive read some where that there is appoint some in the steering that we can lubricate. Is that true?

See if there appears to be an electrical connector right at the steering rack inside the engine bay, the electric assist sensor may be faulty. The lower steering coupler is also known to start seizing.

My engine is D5244T, I don't think I have electrical connector as far as I know. But as soon as I go home today I will check that Oragex. Also pls let me know where is the coupler so I will re grease them.
Thank you.

My guess is that the pas pump is failing but if it's allowed in the handbook, try a higher pressure in the tyres. You may get lucky.
