Default Headlight conversion

Hello guys
I am looking to change my standard crappy headlight bulbs in my1999 volvo v70. I have had a look online at many LED headlights and the one that pops out are night eye. Has anyone used these lights in the past or still have them and how easy are they to fit into the existing headlight housing and the bulb it will be replacing is H7.

Many thanks

Never used led headlight bulbs, you might find this useful -

Fitted Osram Nightbreakers in mine, much better, longer beam pattern and brighter than standard H7 bulbs.

Are the reflectors in your lights good? Make a difference if they're getting dull.

Thank you for your message my reflectors are good I just want to brighten the lights up. May I ask how much you paid for your bulbs please.

Did these bulbs fit straight into your volvo

Europarts have them discounted at the moment & £11.99 a pair!

https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/c...17N&1&cc5_1201

They also last as well as the original lamps even when constantly in use as DRLs.

That link is for H1 bulbs, H7 are £23.99 for twin pack
I've turned the DRL function off as I've always thought this shortened the bulb life
They are exactly the same as normal H7 fitting, no problem to change.

On some models there is a small switch, looks like a slotted screw head, on the lighting switch which can be used to turn on or off the day lights

My apologies to all - I had two pages open!

The cheapest I can find are actually from Amazon @ £18.13 a pair but they price does seem to vary a lot.
