  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Does any part of the sensor wiring get pulled differently when the wheels are on the ground?

Item 11 on this diagram is a speed sensor for the manual gearbox

This is very useful thank you! I had no idea the manual had a speed sensor in the box so that is very interesting, perhaps the wiring to this is being disturbed but you would think it wouldn't move about much. Certainly worth checking. I will report back with results. Many thanks again!

Just to report back, speedo now working. Jacked car up and put it on stands again and then used the jack to load the suspension and adjusted the abs cable so it wasn't in any way stretched. Now sorted! Thanks for your input
