Brakes:
NOW! Check the brake fluid level. Check the front brake pads If topping up the fluid doesn't sort it, or you can't see that the pads are worn down or you don't find anything untoward, or you don't know what you're looking at - THEN: Get the car to a garage PDQ. As for the SRS light this suggests a fault detected in the air bag system. You'll need to get the car to a Volvo dealer for the fault to be identified. Jack |

Found a pipe the goes from the thing in front of the accelerator cable on front right of engine, under accelarator mechanism, under the cover.pipe comes from the what looks like a sort of motor and ends on drivers side floor, not connected to any thing."will check haynes and find out exactly what it is. so wondering if that may have any thing to do with it. can the car fail a mot for srs light? |

Have a look here:
http://volvospeed.com/CheckEngine.php The SRS on you car is on socket B5, read the fault code(s) to find out what's wrong. You could try a reset, if the fault has gone the light will go out. If not then you will need to fix it. |
