i really like these cars and im glad to se their values are finally on the up..i can remember being roundly derided for suggesting the 343 one owner lpg volvo i owned, 20k miles or so genuine, was worth anything more than the normal few hundred notes these cars were reaching at that time..im really happy these we cars time seems fuinally to have come..good luck with the sale mate, had that been a three door id have been very tempted...

Get over to V300mania and you can see that cars are still changing hands for 2days wages. One of these went for £350 earlier in the year -maybe not as tidy, but would place this at about £600top. |

For the last 6 months prices have been back done again, but before that for a couple of years the mint ones were going for 800-1500 easily enough. It really depends on who is buying at the time.
If the bodywork isn't rusty, it's saved you a four figure bill at the bodyshop, you only need to look at my project threads to see how these things can rust if they want. I'd happily pay an extra couple of hundred instead of going through the rust fixing I've had to do on mine if I wasn't attached to the damn things!

What a lovely looking car!!
Perhaps £900 is too much, but what you really need to find is someone who wants to save this car for many years to come. Try £650 or so. In Europe this would easily sell for £900. Same story with my 780, in the UK its worth less than in say Germany or Sweden. But hey, what can we do?!

guys this is someones for sale thread, not a general banter thread.
if he wants to ask that money for it(and to be honest if it is in that good a condition with a great low milage then im sure to someone its well worth it)but he doesnt need you all posting up possibly putting off a potential buyer! i know i wouldnt. i guess its a case of "if you dont want it then dont bother commenting on it!! |
