Replacing mine at the weekend [1997 V70] no use for old ones, they arent in great condition but have passed an mot, car passed in Feb 2010 wearing them

So if you've had a bump or need a temporary fix to get you by then these are bad boys for you, they've seen 161k miles of roads and are eager for more!!

Drivers side:
•Chip in main beam area of headlight [doesnt affect beam pattern]
•indicator lens cracked and full of green [a good clean and would look much better]

Passenger side:
•chip in headlight lens just at the top where the bonnet meets the headlight
•indicator is fine
• i dont think the adjustment motor is working, might just need freeing up, ive never checked.

Could also chuck in a complete set of headlight bulbs as a sweetener [as long as my Xenons arrive in time]

reflectors on both arent great, but as i said they have passed a mot in feb

lens off clean would help them no end im sure, this is what i was going to do if i hadnt been given replacements

Probably best as collection only if you are passing, wouldnt want you to spend cash on them on postage as they are heavy.

Can hold on to them for a while for anyone genuinely interested

I'm in hereford HR2

I'm replacing them Sunday, so i'll let you know, do you pass through hereford often? Have you got a V70? Because judging by your posts you seem to be asking for a lot of 850 stuff and these wont fit an 850

Hi
I've got a 2000 V70 Classic so they should fit. I'm in Hereford most weeks so let me know when you've got them off and I'll pop over.
Thanks
Duncan

Ok, just to be sure with you, these arent any prize winners, and i wouldnt use them for any longer than you have to, yours must be a right state as you probably already realise the V70 lights are shockingly bad, I've got a new set in great condition and i've just purchased some pretty expensive bulbs to go in them here's my project thread http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/search...earchid=853590

I don't have too high expectations! Your car looks good on the thread although the link didn't work for me.
Thanks
Duncan
