Entire headlamp assenbly is very simple plug-and-play, often no tools required.
Sometimes you need a flat screwdriver to pry open the locking tab on the loom connector.

If you wish to dismantle the headlamp and replace any internal pieces, then you will need to battle with the weatehrproof sealant used to glue the lens to the body.

If you are replacing like for like, then as Swiss states its plug'n'play ... if you are replacing halogen headlights with Xenon/bi-xenon projector lamps as you suggest (I think,) its not as easy as you car needs lamp ballasts ,self leveling motor sensors and headlamp washers, plus other software dependent on the projector lamps you are using, not straight fwd nor easy I'd guess.

I'd think a straight replacement would be easier.

Hope it helps

Not so easy
You need the headlamp control unit underthe left hand front seat
The wiring looms
The software
And given that Active Bending Lights was never available as a retrofit, it may not be possible to activate the software

It can’t be done. The headlamp type is programmed into the CEM at manufacture and cannot be changed later - not even by the dealer. The affects how the headlamps are controlled and how electrical power is switched to them.
