Default LKA with lane centering

I own a V60 MY2017. I have noticed that LKA (Lane Keeping Aid) is currently only capable of nudging the car away from lane markings, but not keeping it in the center on the lane.

Does anybody know if Volvo is planning to upgrade LKA (Lane Keeping Aid) with lane centering feature for the 60 models (in a similar way as the Pilot Assist works in 90 series)?

It's fitted to my 14 year old S60 and works perfectly.

On older models the system is called BAPS which stands for Brain Arms Pair of eyes Steering wheel.

Yeah, I know about this system. I have the same system in my car too when I am in it.

I am just being curious.

Mine has the CS (common sense) upgrade. With a DDT (don't drive tired) module.

BAPS is really great when it works properly, there does seem to be a lot of cars fitted with the earlier version on the road, Totally Incompetent Twit Steering

Apologies to the OP who asked a sensible question. My experience of driver assistance technology is limited to Merc HGVs, it's easy to go into old fart mode and suggest that 'we didn't need self driving cars in my day' but having used the system in the truck I did find it useful. If we only had cars that reflected the commonly available technology of the ones we learned in decades ago, none of us would even have power steering. Like any technology it takes a bit of getting used to to find limitations and the best way to use it, in the truck I found that lowering the follow distance from the default setting kept me more aware of what was going on.
