Looks very posh.

When will we have an S90 section for pics to drool over, while someone else pays the initial depreciation / company car tax etc, till mere peasants can afford one ?

very impressive car .. we might be able to buy one in 7 or 8 years time , but not afford to run it !

There is an S90 section, it's grouped with the new XC90 and other SpA platform cars at the moment I think

They are lovely but for me the XC90 is the one to have but I don't have a spare £40k handy to buy even a used one...

If it inherits the S80's mantle of being the fastest depreciation car in the UK, then you won't need to wait too long.

For me, Volvo have bombed the exterior styling of the S90.
That rear end........ all I see is a posh circa late 90s Megane Classic.

To cap it off, the new Megane Classic looks classier as well which considering the difference in price, class and target market, is not ideal for Volvo.
It's as if they've focused solely on the driver's perspective inside the car (which is glorious) but forgotten that the general public also have to look at it.
For the pinnacle of the range, it's not a very high peak.

On the plus side, if you're going to commit a major crime and wish to remain anonymous, do it in a new S90 because when the witnesses are asked to name and describe the car, the response will be, "Erm..... It was big. That's all I remember officer." and you'll be home and dry.
You'll also be semi broke because it'll depreciate like few other cars.

Other than that....... What a car!

I saw one in black a few weeks ago covered in road grime, it looked like the back was collapsing in on itself.
If Americans don't do irony they will with this car, so much of the car is given over to the engine bay.

The rear styling is an aquired taste though it does at least look like it's part of the car, everything from the A pillar forwards looks grafted on from a bigger car. The line from the base of the windscreen is horizontal towards the front of the car.
