Default Fuel Hoses

Thanks to the Government introducing E10 (if you can find any petrol at all at the moment) I feel the need to change my rubber fuel hoses on both my Amazon Estate and P1800S.

Can anyone advise what lengths are needed for each gauge of hose?

I hear that Gates hoses are the best, is Car Builder Solutions the best place to get these?
Thanks.

I have been using Gates Barricade hose on my D jet equipped 142 and so far it has been the most durable of the modern hoses that I have tried. But, it has only been two years since I did the replacement. Be aware that there are a whole bunch of different hoses sold under the Barricade family name so do your homework. They do sell carburetor specific hoses which have a lower pressure rating than MPFI hoses.

I have heard that Cohline offers a quality product; but, I have no direct experience with them as they are harder to source on this side of the Atlantic.

As an observation, E10 will not be a significant issue unless you are letting it sit in your vehicle unused for long periods of time. The UK is late to the E10 party as it has been common in North America for at least 10 years with early implementation in some regions more than 20 years ago.

I buy all my fuel hoses from these people, they stock cohline stuff which is excellent in my experience and e10 friendly.
