Fuel pump leaking 544
I have tried two different fuel pumps. Both have leaked between gaskets. The screws back out over time and it leaks. This causes a seal problem and the pump cannot create a proper vacuum. It makes it difficult to start. I have installed a booster electric pump and that solved the fuel delivery to get her started. However the pressure made the mechanical pump leak. I tighten up the screws and it stops. I have used lock tight on the screws and this does not stop the screws backing out. I used bolts on the first one and it still leaked. Any ideas?

Already used lock washer. Stripped out two bolts today. Trying bolts , lock washers and nuts again on those.

The pump shown is a pattern type replacement. Italian? It's not one of the better ones for the task. Buy from a Volvo specialist not Autozone or NAPA.
