Default Dealer service york

Hi guys
Just had my v70 serviced at local dealer, very good service and quite thorough I thought.
I explained that the remote for the door lock sometimes didn't work and you had to give it a shake, I was going to get round to changing the battery at some point, anyway they changed it for me and only charged £2 89p, bargain.
They also did what they call a health check, including a road test which I really wanted, and to my surprise it came back with a fairly clean bill of health, even the geartronic box passed so my two flushes must have done some good after all.
And of course a software update.
So all in all in very happy with the service from then.
Cost was £229 which I didn't think was too bad and certainly worth it for the peace of mind.
Dealer was Ray Chapman Volvo york.

Not a bad price, especially when it includes 12 month breakdown cover. When you knock off say £129 for equivalent cover, then £100 for main dealer service is v.good imo. Beats most Indies.

Thats my thought and the cover they give you is full EU. It is second to none. I spend around 6 weeks driving abroad and single trip EU breakdown policies are £80.

Must admit, I didn't think it was too bad
That was an intermediate service, not including fuel filter, but thats no big deal.
Full service quote £285 which I don't think is bad.

Oh, good question, to be honest I didn't ask, they just told me it had been done as I requested
They did tell me that there were no outstanding recalls.
Also told me it was last serviced at a volvo dealers at 36k.
