Angry Where 5&6 on full beam stalk & issues -:(

G'Day

I am completing the phase two 2 headlight conversion on my 1998 V40. How ever after reading the articles it is suggested I jumper points5 & 6. But where are they located ?

I am also getting the full beam indicator light still showing on the dash board when I turn the ignition on it goes out and works normally once the lights are on - ? Just wonder how I could fix that if anyone knows please.

All the information and illustrations I read and see say don't connect the black wire off the old single beam head light set up ( the side light wire) - if I don't then the side light on the off side doesn't work ( scratches his head ??)

Its all a wee bit confusing especially after I read that so many have completed everything easily -

Would love to see a photo of the finished wiring for this conversion on both headlights if any one can help ??

I am not very good at reading wiring diagrams sorry.

Thanks for any Healy on advance.

See this?

With a four pin double headlight socket
The high goes to the top pin
The low goes to the second pin
The common to the third
Parking light positive to the fourth possibly yellow or pink
See what happens if you connect the parking common to the third pin

Trace the wires inside the double headlight
There will be one colour, the common going to each globe
The other wires going to each globe will each be a different colour?

Rig up temporary looms with existing plugs before pulling apart
or cutting your original stuff
