Default Door Open warning message

I've been struggling to close the drivers door so that I can get rid of the "Door Open" message. It's worse in the cold weather. So it looks like I'm going to have to replace the motor mechanism.

The question is :-
Do i get one from this country i.e. Right hand drive, or get one from Lithuania LHD which would be the passenger door abroad, hence less usage.

I was just wondering how common this problem is. I don't want to get a scrap yard replacement to find out I've got the same problem in 6 months time.

Just to be clear, the door closes fine, it's the electrics that's faulty.

Thanks
Roy

Thanks Simmy, yes I forgot about Trevor Burgess, I got an injector replaced from a V70 they were breaking. They also put a new intercooler in as well.

It might be worth giving them a call.
