Default Boot lock mechanism issue

I had a problem with a broken wire in the boot of my 2006 S40 - I repaired the wire but having put it back the boot locks fine but then wont open again and I have to take the lock out again each time.

It seems that the lock mechanism in the black plastic casing is not operating correctly and I am sure it is because theloaded spring functionality is not sitting correctly when I put it back. Can anyone help me or does anyone had a diagram of how the spring and arms should be situation when I put it back into place.

Good luck with this - My boot lid lock has been a nightmare recently - replaced the entire lock, motor and wiring loom, still have problems which it now looks like is probably down to dodgy keys sending dodgy signals which mean the boot just 'opens' on start up and shut down of the engine .....
