im guessing those values are based on predicted trade in values, as im pretty sure a proton would be worth more than 2k after 3 yrs on the general market

that said is seem to be the larger and heavier vehicles with expensive repair/running costs that get hit the hardest, but it always has been, and as a rule if you can afford to buy them the residuals are not an issue

the only ones that were a suprise as such were the c5 and the zafira but then finding a good example that doesnt require major work is quite hard

Vauxhall Insignia, average new price £33k ???
Dubious figures some of these.

Try and convince a Volvo dealer that you'll pay £6.2k plus £1500 profit for that 3 year old S80 !!

Big cars such as the S80, A8, 7 Series and Jag XJ have always lost value at a stonking rate though.

Older Jags can make cracking used buys if you can afford the fuel.
