Yes that sounds right.

But also I am puzzled that the changing up problem is "when cold".

Anyway, need to get out and about now.

Is this vehicle new to you, ie have you inherited someone else's problems, or has it worked ok previously?

had vehicle about 12 months, did have problem, changed gearbox fluid, interuptor rings and a sensor. then was ok done 10000 mls in it., then took off road for 3 months to use other car and now its playing up. just done a read after trying with ecu disconnected
0001 intermittent fault
dm 0001 vehicle speed signal
v55 signal missing

0021
abs-0021 wheel sensor , right front faulty signal.

had 2 new sensors on the right front to see if it was afaulty sensor.

been suggested i use phone for speedo or sat nav. just dont want to screw something up by running without ecu
geof.
