Default C30

I replaced my rear pads on C30 at weekend. Not that I needed to but there was a rattle and after two visits to a mechanic, two sets of pads, loads of grease couldn't sort so decided to have a go myself.

Fitted Brembo pads, hoped these would make a difference. The wind back tool I purchased did not fit the slots in the C30's piston so used pliers to wind back instead, bit of an effort but worked out ok. I found a couple of turns anti-clockwise to loosen then turning clockwise to wind in made it easier.

As mentioned before, remove the brake fluid cap and once pads fitted pump the brake a couple of times until firm again. The clips are a bit fiddly to replace once completed but a gentle nudge with a rubber mallet helped.

..... No more rattle
