I have tried to help out you guys by offering the parts up for free in return for carbs but no avail.

Can anyone tell me how to wire up the fuel injection system by-passing the original loom? Is the brain the box on the inner wing? Has four wires on the plug and the distributor has 3. Do I simply 'live up' one of the wires that go into the brain?
Hi

Yes mate, for racing. There is a 1400cc limit all rear wheel drive meeting coming up and I think a 340 would be good fun to use!?

If you speak to matey, could u just mention it and see if he has anything he would be willing to part with for some beer tokens?

Hi Sean,

I think you'll find the 1.4s are very competitive with the right preparation. Quite a hard class to find cars for, I suspect. Early 343s did a very effective job of seeing off Escorts in European Rallycross in the early 80s.

I popped a post over here... http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-u...hp?f=9&t=11561

cheers

James
