I finally found out what this fault code is for.

Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit/Open

Anyone replaced one? Can't seem to find any pictures or prices online.

Hi thanks for coming back to me so quickly it's much appreciated - i'd found reference to that but mainly for diesel - good to know it solves it for petrol too. Thanks again.

Default Fix Code P2008

Managed to fix this with a bit of carb cleaner £6 halfords and torque on Android to reset the code.

Basically remove the large pipe that goes between the air filter and the inlet manifold, once it's removed clean the inside of the inlet with carb cleaner mine wasn't too bad so I didn't remove the whole assembly. Reset the code and for me at least that solved it. Fingers crossed!!

Hope this helps someone.

Hi mate the code is for the two solenoid valves (they come together ) that sit behind the hose you have removed the open the intake flaps that are internal within the intake manifold the valves have four vacuum hoses going to them the replacement parts are £55 so a cheap fix in my book?!

Good times then! Let's hope it lasts... Just in case it doesn't do you have the Part Numbers for the two solenoids?
