Smile my v70 t5, i have questions (im new here)

hi all, I got myself this t5, im quite happy with it but it shudders at the front when hitting big bumps in the road, so ill be looking to get new bushes ect.
its been remapped and is about 285 bhp. its also been dropped by 30mm.
my first question, it has no cruise control, is it pre wired?
second question, it dosnt have a trip computer to display mpg ect, is this also pre wired?
if they are pre wire then what parts ect do I need.
thanks in advance.

Nice looking car m8.
Check your tyre pressures, as these cars are very sensitive to this.
I reckon they should be 32 front 30 back . Any harder than this and it will feel like riding on a Penny Farthing lol.

Hello and welcome buddy. Front suspension problems are pretty common on V70/S60's. It could be a number of things, bushes, drop links, shocks etc, , ,They don't seem to like certain tyres either. Could it have something to do with it being lowered maybe???

I'd agree, with the spec it sounds like it's been a cop car in a past life.

Both cruise and the trip computer are easy enough to get the bits to install, but there is a BIG catch, in that they both need a software upload from volvo which costs in excess of £300 each.

Very unusual to see one without the screen working, have you tried spinning the ring on the stalk and tapping the read button?
Does it say anything at all? It may have had the screen disabled to hide something in the past.

Got any interior pics? I'd be able to tell if it's ex-plod pretty quickly.
There was a poverty spec that was so low in equipment, it's now extremely rare.

to fit cruise control, you'll need to change the airbag module on the steering wheel to one with the cruise buttons and possibly add a clutch position sensor to the pedal prior to the software update.

The guy before me fitted the lesjofors springs, dont know if there are good quality springs or not, and did the remap himself.
there is a read button but no ring to spin. When you press the read button it comes up " 0 messages" on the display. But when you start the car it does say something about the the alarm service.
Ill get some pics up later.
the trip computer isnt that important to me but the cruise control is because on a long drive my leg and ankle realy aches

Alarm service is most likely a knackered siren module, there are hundreds (probably no exaggeration!) of threads on the board about it if you search.
