Default Dipstick hole size

As title really, does anyone know what size the diameter is for the dipstick hole in a 2001 S60 automatic gearbox as I'm looking to get some rubber tubing to fit inside to make less mess when I change the gearbox fluid again.

Thanks

Measure the diameter of your dipstick at the top, less a mm, then you've got it. I believe halfords do a funnel with the right diameter tube.

I got one of these for less than a fiver from my local auto parts store:

It's perfect for the job. The end of the spout is 11.8mm OD, and fits nicely into the dipstick tube. You do have to pour slowly, though, or the dipstick tube will overflow.

Default Tube

Hello, The top 25mm of the tube is 11.5mm I.D.
A 7.5mm wide tie wrap (zip tie) was the widest thing the body of the tube would accept.
A practical measure. Kira
