How to identify my steering rack?
I had my 2002 V70 T5 mot'd and have an advisory for slight play in inner tie rods. Searching I see there are 2 types, how do I know which rack I have?
I also have advisories 001 Nearside inner rear(D bush)Anti-roll bar has slight play in a pin/bush (2.4.G.2) and the same for the other side. I take it these will be the bushes that secure the bar to the car? Many thanks. |

If you look carefully at the boot at the inner end of the steering tie rod you may see SMI embossed on the rubber. If so you will probably need the shorter of the two inners available with the finer pitch thread.
