Default £8K 850 t5?!

Has anyone else spotted this? what am I missing?! 8K seems about 4 times what its probably worth, even as good as it is.

Maybe its the ocean race badges that bump up the price?

did they even make the "ocean race" back then because i cant find anything for this model, as far as im aware Volvo didnt start sponsoring it until 2008 at which point they bought out the car special edition.

I think there is some bull**** there lol

The badges are bull, centre caps have been changed as well as a bunch of other trim. Its certainly been looked after though and the small changes are no bad thing, just don't go thinking is some uber rare model, it's just a regular cd.
Wheels have seen fresh powder coat, again look smart.

Sorry but you're all being a little harsh as didn't you read the part which says "rare 'Ocean Race' badging"......that adds at least 6 grand to the cars value...

Someone who is in the know or at least done a bit of research should know thats waaaay overpriced. If they don't then they deserve to have their pants pulled down over it.

Default Reminds me of a V70R I saw a couple of years ago...

The geezer wanted 27k for it.

Now, don't get me wrong - twas his pride and joy and it was indeed near-perfect. And only 26000 miles on an 03 plate I think...

He wouldn't accept my offer of 12k.

So, what would be the sort of price would an 850 T5 estate go for say with less than 50k miles on in very good condition? I know the R's go for £4k upwards, would a mint low mileage T5 fetch £3k???? auto or manual worth more???

I've always said a car is worth what someone will pay for it, yes I agree £8,000 is well OTT. however it just takes one person to be interested in an original auto 850 T5 with low mileage and full history.

that said I went to a classic auction and a low mileage 850 2.5l went for + £2,300 Had the history but was in average condition body work wise and had been machined polished to death.

I personally would pay £5,000 for an outstanding T5 and would guess manuals are more sought after.
