Default Faulty front parking sensor #7

Hello

I've been getting an intermittent park assist error message associated with loss of my parking sensor function.

VIDA shows faulty signal from sensor #7 which should be from the front.

I'm thinking of cleaning the connections to the #7 sensor first before replacing it.

Can't find any instructions in VIDA on how to get the sensor. I gather taking off the front bumper is the only way? Is it possible to disconnect the connection without a bumper removal?

You will find it very dificult to get to the sensors without unclipping the bumper

Haha after 2 months of procrastination, got around trying to solve my parking sensor

I have removed only part of the bumper and am able to remove the two inner front parking sensors.

My question is, which one is parking sensor no 7?

Is it the one of the left hand side, on the air filter side of the car?

Got the parking sensor fixed.

Found this on u-tube. Mighty helpful

If replacing the two inner sensors (#6 #7) you only need to remove this bumper trim which was easy.

These sensors from Volvo was very expensive! Found Valeo ones for half the price and they worked just fine.
