Would love to do this to mine but can only find coolers without pipes which is really frustrating.

Yes, that's the case , unless you can find someone breaking the whole car and ask them for the cooler and pipes

I got mine from a breaker in Ireland.

It came with the pipes but only after arguing about it via Ebay.

The cooler was advertised and pictured with the pipes still already attached and that's what I insisted I receive seeing as no mention was made of the pipes not being included.

I couldn't undertand why anyone would want to sell one without the pipes as they aren't any good for anything else.

If I see one advertised again Daniel I'll PM you with details.

UPDATE

This is like the one that I bought and from the same seller although now for some reason he says pipes not included.:confused _smile:

Probably would be available if queried.

Thanks for the replies and the link I saw that advert as well and says pipes not included which is strange as like you say what’s the point if they’re not included.

I was tempted for one of the universal ones you see on there and cut and connect the pipes up but can’t see how you would mount it nicely, so will wait for a Volvo one to come up thanks again.

A universal one would be fine as would joining the pipes BUT the genuine one goes straight on with all of the mounts already in place so probably the best bet.

That trans cooler looks very different to mine

Mine has a trans cooler ex-factory for my D5 diesel R-Design with factory towing kit. Looks quite a bit smaller though....

Are you looking at the one in the foreground rather than the power steering cooler behind it?

The one in the foreground fits straight across the entire width of the existing radiator and mounts onto the same holes as the power steering cooler.

Well you got me there. It's a single pipe with aluminium fins. I thought it was the trans cooler. But maybe I'm wrong.
