Roof Trim
So today I decided to tackle the roof trim that runs from front to rear as the plastic covering is coming off. On removing it however I discovered a whole world of hidden horribleness as along the weld, the sealant had failed and the welds were rusting. The Offside was quite back and at first glance the nearside was okay but when I removed the sealant, I could see the start of tin rot on that side too.
Quick trip to Halfrauds for some Kurust and some new sealant. |

Does anyone know the part number or where I can get these spring clips as some are very rusty and broken?

http://www.skandix.de/en/spare-parts...-trim/1022912/ eBay has them for twice the price but avoids the mental postage fees. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283439509...m=283439509657 P/N for your own Googling is 9178792 They're something I now grab from every scrap car I find as the cost to replace them is mental.

You may be able to find double sided edge clips in a similar size and not silly money!
https://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/produ...ided-edge-clip Try some of the classic car sites for trim- Link to Woolies attached. (These are £2:00 for ten) Trust it helps. Bob |
