Wheels/Tyres: Noob - help with new alloys

Hi everyone, I am new and first post here, so hello and go easy on me

Firstly, I know a little about cars, certainly not a mechanic by a long shot, I can do regular servicng, some repairs, brakes servicing, that kinda thing, I do a little more on my motorcycle short of pulling the engine apart.

However, I have never been one to really modify a vehicle, and I must admit I am completeley out of my depth here.

The car is a 2013 Volvo S60 T3, I really dont like the stock wheels on the car.

What I am thinking is getting some new alloy wheels, would like something black (ideally matt black, less shiney is better) certainly nothing to "blingey", I am honestly not a poser, but I think having some modest looking black wheels would really just make the car look nicer.

Now... sizing, I have done a bit of digging and research and there is more to this then I had thought. Firstly, I want to, as little as possible, affect the overall size of the wheel, I definately do not want to have to roll the wheel arches/modify the suspension or the likes, something that will just bolt off - bolt-on, keeping the same offset, wont mess the speedo (much) or ABS, or rub against the wheel arches, or lean out at an angle like you see on some american custom cars. Basically I want to keep it as simple as humanly possible.

Looking at the potential options, it seems this car can go from a 16" up to a 19", using lower profile tyres as you go up in size. I would prefer a slightly larger wheel if possible, for looks and also I will take handling over comfort to a point, I am also wary having a very low profile tyre you run the risk of curbing, or hitting a bad pothole even worse. So probably 19" is straight away of out the question.

So, here is where I need some advice. What do you guys recommend for wheel and tyre size? Is it a bad idea to go much over stock? What specifications for fitting should I be looking at when chosing a wheel? Any specific alloys you could recomend that will give me a good fit?

Thank you, looking at the prices of some of those used ones I think I might just buy them new.

I think the stock rim is 16" so this is going up 1"

Pretty certain they will fit, bolt pattern and offset all match, and I ran the tyre size through a calculator and it'll make about .5mph difference on the speedo at 70mph.

It is 10mm wider overall, but thats 5mm either size, unless the car has some very restrictive clearance with the stock wheels(?) I am guessing they should be fine on full lock. I will check though before pruchase they are supplied with the correct spigot rings as I have been told those are very important.
