LMAO.
Not when I actually did the change. I doubt you have.

My data is saying AW-1 for the 2011 model.

Hi Guy. Well after an email chat with Tim a couple of weeks ago, I've ordered 10 litres of Fuhcs Titan 4400 from you guys this afternoon. A wee pre-Xmas job for me.

For future reference, I investigated the 3309 vs AW-1 difference and came to a primary source conclusion here: https://forums.swedespeed.com/showth...AW-1-(JWS-3324)

See this post for a situation similar to yours: https://forums.swedespeed.com/showth...=1#post7040778

You'd likely fall post VIN break (meaning you have a TF-80SC Gen II), but superseded by a Volvo TJ (which states to use AW-1 for TF-80SC Gen II's [ex my XC60] except for the XC90 - which only switched to AW-1 in 2013).

The TJ is linked in the thread above.

I’d seen that thread already, and posted a link earlier in the thread. A really interesting & positive read which gets to the bottom of it. Whilst there is some confusion, the technical journal is the definitive answer in my mind.

Thanks - yes. I was really happy with my outcome.

I'd love to know the rationale why they waited to 2013 to move the XC90 to AW-1, but that would have been asking too much of them.

Well that's the first 2.5 litres in and looking at what came out, I'm glad I did. I'll do another couple of dump&fills next weekend to finish things off.

One thing though, what datum do you folks use to decide when the car is level? By the time the front wheels are in the garage, I'm a wee touch nose-up. I'm thinking a spirit level along the bottom of the floor plan??

My drive is not level so I orientated the car by eye without problem.

Any doubt and I would simply drive it out without the undertray, park up on a flat road and pull the 40tx level plug out and catch the drips in a container.
