Default V70 mkiii position front light fault

Hi all I’ve recently had a position lamp go in the front headlight of my 09 v70.

I changed on of them for an led but the other one (passenger side front doesn’t work,
I think it may be the wiring, is it possible to replace this rather than get a whole headlight unit?

I would check to see if you have voltage at the lamp first. Have you got a voltmeter?
Also, LEDs only work one way when inserted into the lampholder. Try rotating and re-inserting into the lampholder 180°.

...most likely cause... if you use a LED in the wrong way it won't work.

BTW - the OSRAM LEDriving Standard W5W Cool White are a fantastic upgrade...quality product too

Have you tried putting a normal w5w bulb in and seeing if that works?
